In October 2004 Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 became law and if you provide services to the public you have responsibilities under this legislation. Under the requirements of the Act, the goods or services you provide must be accessible to the disabled and ‘reasonable adjustments’ to your premises have to be carried out.
